EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an Aggregate % of 60 and above
Minimum of 4 years experience in people management
Minimum of 2 years experience in presales.
Experience in a people management role desirableExperience in Customer interaction (especially Pre-Sales related) role mandatory
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Manage
· Manage a team of @10+ Solution Engineers within India.
· Ensure successful execution of sales cycle related activities (site surveys, demonstration prep, demonstration delivery, follow-up, etc.)
· Ensure the team is prepared for and skilled in effectively selling remotely (via conference calls and webex’s)
· Ensure team is properly trained on SAP’s solutions (to be determined).
Interact
· Heavy interaction and effective communication required with US-based Lead SE and support SE’s / Sales and Sales Management, and SE Management teams.
· Lateral interaction with groups in India, and Operate
· Work with India and US based SE team to ensure India based SE team is prepared for prospect selling events (meetings, demo’s, etc.)
· Ensure implementation of best practices for demo development, and demo delivery.
· Will need to work primarily US-based hours and manage team that works US-based hours.
Plan and Strategize
· Work closely with management to plan and execute on needs of the US-based Strategic Growth Enterprises Group SE Team.
· Play a critical role in processes related to hiring, training, Quality Management and, Development.
· Help management strategize on future growth of the Strategic Growth Enterprises Group
